Today when I meet you I see that you are in no mood to talk or say a word. I let my eyes do the talking. I ask you whether you would like to go for a drive. You nod in the affirmative. I open the passenger side of the car door for you to be seated. I close the door and walk to the other side of the car and get in. Right now we are in the city center with lot of traffic all around us. You just keep looking around without saying a word. I keep on driving. Now we have reached out of the city and it gets quieter. I push a cassette into the tape recorder. And the song “Everything I do…I do it for you” starts playing. Now we are out of all kinds of dwellings. Its just a winding road and nature all around us. There is absolutely no one around us. Its absolutely silent outside. The only sound which, can be heard is of the car engine and the song playing softly in the background. I reduce the speed of the car so that we can enjoy the scenic beauty all around us. We are in a land with lush green fields on both the sides of the road and nothing else. The scent in the air is fabulous, and the climate cool. You keep on looking at the greenery around you. Another song has started playing, this time it is “As long as you love me”. I see you are now feeling a bit better. It starts drizzling a bit and it becomes cooler still. Now we see hills in front of us. As we slowly approach them, I see that the unknown tension on your face has disappeared. We are now on a road, which runs through a valley, and all around there are beautiful flowers. We are driving through a flower valley. The scent from the flowers is totally intoxicating. There is a song change and now the song “You fill up my sense” starts playing. You are continuously looking at the flowers and they are of so many different colors and types. I see a small smile on your face and now you are humming along with the song. There are so many kinds of flowers, some red, some pink, some yellow, and some with a mixture of colors. Now we are moving out of the valley and we are at the foothills of a mountain. Right ahead is a big waterfall. I take the car towards the side of the road and stop it. Both of us haven’t spoken a word yet. I move out and open the door for you. Both of us start walking towards the waterfall, the only sound which can be heard is of the water gushing between the rocks. There is a lot of mist in the air all around and its quite chilling. We keep walking until we reach right next to the water stream, which originates from the waterfall. There are a few rocks around and we sit one of the rocks. You are looking at the water flowing. Suddenly there is a breeze and along with the air the small droplets of water from the waterfall blow into us. We keep sitting there for quite some time. You are enjoying the lush natural beauty all around you. Suddenly it starts drizzling slowly, so both of us get up and walk towards the car. I hold the door open for you to sit and then I sit in too. I switch on the car engine and push in the cassette, and now there is a different song playing, it is “Please forgive me..”. I hand you a napkin to wipe off the water from your face and hands. I start driving and now we are driving on the road going around the mountain. I see a distinctive smile on your face now, as I drive around the steep road. We are now between clouds, hardly anything can be seen outside. The mountain is totally green with plants and shrubs all around us. On one side of the road is a valley and the other side greenery. Its become quite cold, so we wind up the glasses of the car. Now the only thing, which can be heard, is the song in the background. As we move upwards we move out of the clouds. The road now travels downwards. As we again move into the clouds and out of them the scenery changes into a beautiful one. There is a song change too, and this time the song “Words” starts playing. I see you smiling more often now. As we keep approaching below the view is fantastic. You keep looking outside. What I see a little bit away from us is the sea, and right at the foothills of the mountain is a beach. The sun is high up in the sky and as it shines, the water looks golden in color and the sand on the beach too shines. As we come nearer the whole place looks to be made of Gold. As we reach the beach I park the car by the side of the road. I get down and hold the door open for you. You get down and both of us start walking towards the water. As the sun shines right in front of us, the air is hot and it feels good after the chilling top of the mountain. Now you walk closer to me and catch hold of my hand. As the sun shines and the waves hit the shore. The occasional wind blowing sprays small droplets of water all over us. We keep walking along the shore. The only sound is that of the waves as they hit the shore. Still a word has not been said. We keep walking without any worries. Just smiles on our faces and the beauty all around us. After the time, which we don’t realize how, it passes away and seems like eternity. The feelings, which flow, are divine and take both of us into some where which is far away from the daily life. It seems like you are in heaven. The sun is nearly setting now and watching the sun looks amazing, as it sends its last few rays for the day. We walk back to the car still hand in hand. Now I drive out the car and to enjoy the silence and tranquility all around I don’t turn on the music. I start driving, and after sometime there is a forest ahead with thick trees all around and just a single road through it. The sight is totally out of the world as the sun is just going down and the birds are coming back to their nests and only the chirping can be heard. We drive back slowly into the city and get back to where we started from. Still not a word has been spoken. And the trip comes to an end with smiles on our faces.
